Residents unhappy at lack of an Iriyah gan in Gimmel
Residents in Ramat Beit Shemesh Gimmel are outraged by the lack of Iriyah ganim for the upcoming school year. While the Iriya promised there would be Iriya ganim, the enrollment fails to mention one Iriya gan.
Other problems also exist: the number of ganim relative to the number of children needing a gan is low. With a ratio of 20 ganim spots to 70 children needing space, many children will need to be transported to other parts of the city to attend ganim.
The Iriyah claims that they would allocate a building if there was a need. Parents say this has been the claim year after year, and while valid proof is provided of the need, the Iriya still refuses to provide Iriyah ganim.
